Death Valley

Texas Battle more than just Bold and the Beautiful.

MTV..just can't help themselves. But this is a show, mockumentary in the style of Reno 911. Only, in this tale are vampires, were-wolves and zombies.

"It seems like horror has been good to the MTV network - they saw their ratings surge last year when they hosted several modern horror classics on their network, and their newest genre show, "Teen Wolf", has done phenomenal ratings numbers and has already been picked up for a second season." One article states about perhaps why MTV went this route. Plus, its horror-comedy. The series follows the ‘Undead Task Force’ (Utf), a newly formed division of the Lapd, documentary-style, as they capture the monsters that roam the streets of California’s San Fernando Valley. In a world where vampires, werewolves and zombies live freely, “Death Valley” is a fun, comedic non-stop thrill ride featuring chases, hardcore kills and bizarre encounters.

Tania's grown up a lot since LOST.

Tania Raymonde will star in the show. She played Alex Rousseau in LOST. Toby Meuli, Bryan Callen and Texas Battle are in the cast, too. Its certainly a genre you'll either love or hate..or just might find yourself intrigued with for no apparent reason. This has a show that just takes you there. Not sure how scripted it will be. I'm sure they are just banking on creating mayhem. Of course, I'm sure many living in different parts of the world have enough mayhem to deal with as it is. Why and the world would anyone want to produce it? I guess your answer would be..if not MTV..Comedy Central.

Show starts Aug.29th on MTV.

Caity Lotz just one of the team.

STORYLINE: A mockumentary following a police force as they deal with various perpetrators who are mostly supernatural in nature.
